๐ŸŒŸHow to get confidence back!๐ŸŒŸ

I expect most of us to be surprised at the one thing that prevents us from enjoying the confidence we once had, and want back.

It comes down to how much of our secret inner life we are willing to reveal to the world.

The more we keep secret, the less confidence we wind up with!

To prove it, take a chance.

Pick something we that keep concealed and allow it to show. Watch what happens.

The thing blocking our ability to express ourselves openly and freely just disappears.

This is the path back to confidence and strength.

We need to reveal our real nature, bit by bit. Our feelings. Our needs. Our deepest wishes.

During this process we not only become more confident, we discover who we are as well!

How did we get the way we are now?

Life is supposed to come from within. That’s where all the power is. Itโ€™s also where all the good in people comes from.

Our wisdom and our sense of responsibility all come from within.

In our early years we are supposed to get supported and encouraged in developing our inner strength.

But we donโ€™t. Not now! We get told how to be.

We then become, bit by bit, ashamed of our own inner qualities. We become ashamed of our own awesomeness.

To be openly human is to be one of the the most loving and joyful creatures on the planet. There is nothing to be ashamed of, and never has been.

To recover, we all face the same job. We need to relearn how to reveal ourselves as we really are.

As we do this we become steadily stronger, happier, more expressive, and more likeable!

As we do this, we all arrive on the same page. It just happens.

That reconnection is what everybody in therapy is already trying to achieve.

We all need to reconnect with the awesomeness that lives within us!

We do it by revealing ourselves.

Frightening as that is, there is nobody, anywhere, who is going to be disappointed!

What happens is always the opposite.

We find ourselves becoming proud of who we are!

Thanks for listening.

Good luck on your journey.
