Every one of us are victims.
None of us had any chance at all, of ever keeping the inner power we were born with!
Our entire culture believes in power!
Why?
Because we each secretly want our power back. We want to feel right again!
We want to feel strong again, like we used to!
Our accepted ways of treating our young cause them to get forced into giving up on their inner power! Generation after generation, the very same thing happens.
One by one, we each found ourselves needing to disconnect from our own powerful identity!
Why?
Nature gave each of us the power to take on life through our own drive. All life works this way.
When forced to follow someone else’s never ending directions instead, our own drive puts us into agony. No life is built to live under firm control!
It’s unintentional of course, but it has become an ever-growing trend, and problem.
Each of us had no other option. To escape our intense inner pain, we had to disconnect from the driving force of our identity. We will probably never be the same again.
Now, we are without our full power, and we live in a cocoon of misinformation, carefully crafted to conceal the truth, and the hurt of our missing power.
It’s all about identities! Mankind just doesn’t allow them!
Identities are powerful. There are instincts, feelings, awareness of health, and communication on some basic level, with all of life.
If we lose that, we lose confidence, and the courage to see everything clearly, without blocking parts of it for our own comfort.
In our compromised condition, when we see a full-strength natural identity, it frightens us! It feels like a threat!
The more we all run from powerful identities, the more helpless we all become! Right along with that, the more dangerous our world becomes!
This is no conspiracy! What is happening, is straight-out fear!
It’s a world wide condition!
Fortunately, we can easily end this “one by one”, crushing of everybody’s inner life!
That can’t be done with our heads in the sand though!
We need to appreciate what is happening.
How do we start?
We allow our young to get through their childhood with their identity intact!
That sounds fair enough, doesn’t it! Regardless of our understandings or beliefs, this is clearly an honorable goal!
After that is accomplished, we turn to the recovery of our own lost identity!
There is no reasonable argument in the world that could find fault with these goals.
If we have secrets. If we have issues we can’t resolve. If we can remember a better time long ago. If we feel we can’t trust people. If we have a sense we don’t really know who we are, or what we want. Then we are disconnected from our identity!
Living our identity is a natural right!
It’s the right of all life!
The consequences of all of us trying to live without the full power of our own identity are relentless, catastrophic, and ubiquitous.
The more helpless we all feel, the more dangerous and confusing our entire culture becomes.
Every organization at the present time, and every service, reflects the life of people without complete identity.
Most, if not all of our institutions and beliefs, already have the real purpose of allowing us to survive while in pain, and hopefully make us feel somewhat better.
Let’s get started!
Because of our own past, we find in inconceivable to allow our children their own full strength.
That’s where we start!
Their identity is at least equal to us! Being fully connected, it actually far exceeds ours. We cannot teach the power of life to them! The best of us can learn from them!
They will already be infinitely more moral, reliable, and empathetic than any of us can ever reach, not without our own identity fully intact!
Their power allows them to quickly take on walking and talking!
This happens in the proper way, before we can communicate with them well enough to put a stop to their self-driven progress.
We need that power to be allowed to continue on, through the rest of their life.
Once again, how could anybody reasonably argue against that goal!
Backing off, and allowing them to go ahead full steam under their own power does not cause problems. That’s one of our many false misconceptions.
Allowing our kids full strength and room to grow takes away just about every problem that our world is used to living with.
By the time they are 5 years old, they will be starting to help us. That can start as early as 1.
Unable to appreciate the real situation, as we all have been, we have simply had no idea of what they were capable of.
There is no down side! It’s nothing but good!
Fully connected with their identity, they have no conflict, resentment, or rebelliousness. Those negative actions were all a reaction to us, as we refused to allow them to live under the guidance and power of their own identity!
Will there still be differences of opinion, behavior, and intent? Absolutely!
The unreasonable demands will probably all come from us!
For all our talk, we have absolutely no idea how to allow freedom.
Just look at the conflict around our world. With every issue someone is demanding a right they don’t deserve, or have natural rights to!
Every life has a natural right to be themselves.
I can just see many others firmly agreeing with this, then twisting truth till it screams, in an effort to demand rights they don’t have!
Life, where other people are granted the right to be themselves, is awesome! It’s all good. It’s fun. It’s real life itself! It’s as honest and as fun as we remember!
All the misery comes from some hurting person demanding obedience from some other person!
Once again, there is no downside! For any of us capable of making the leap, life becomes the promise that it is!
What about us!
Can we get our power back?
There is a barrier! We struggle with this issue every day!
None of us went down easy! We went down kicking and screaming. We did everything short of dying, to live our identity. Some of us actually did die.
What happened to those feelings?
We still have them. We avoid them with a passion. We use a lot of our energy just to keep them away from us.
I expect you know where we are going with this!
Our identity lies straight through the most awful feelings we ever suffered.
That’s where we have to go. We don’t have to do it all at once though!
Absolutely every step reduces our fear. Believe me, that feels better.
We have already accomplished the hardest part! We went through all of that, and we survived. Painful and frightening as it will be, revisiting it is only closure!
Doing that frees us. It’s the final act of our trauma.
