But, we don’t allow people to be themselves!
We don’t even know how to anymore!
Why does this matter?
The more we insist people be as we choose, the more we all suffer from anger, hostility, hate, and violence!
The increased isolation and meanness in our world these days is easily visible.
We imagine different reasons for it, and many of us suggest various ways to fix it!
One Basic Truth
Allow any person to live from their identity right from the beginning!
They will turn out cooperative, kind, empathetic, non-destructive, highly social, responsible, and playful!
Why?
That’s who people really are, that’s why!
Mother Nature has given every one of us an identity.
It comes with inner strength, instincts, senses, feelings, imagination, intelligence, and a very strong sense of duty and obligation to others.
All together, this makes us sympathetic, caring, and very responsible!
The above qualities are what our identities make us!
Why are we selfish and destructive then?
If we aren’t allowed to be our identities, we can’t feel our feelings, and the same disconnection also means we can’t be any of these natural qualities!
First of all, we hurt!
Being deprived of our own identities is certainly not going to make us feel comfortable!
Most of us don’t remember, but that loss was agony!
Secondly, without our identities, we also lack the inner power that came with it!
We feel helpless!
How does a person who feels helpless act?
We ought to know! We are all surrounded by them!
Being ourselves!
How can this be done?
Support and encourage new life in their own efforts to flourish!
That’s how we can do it for others!
For those of us who never got to be our true selves, it’s a long road back, but possible!
Watch Mother Nature!
Every other form of life on the planet gets support and encouragement to live their own life!
A revolution!
We don’t have to wait for a revolution.
We are all independent. We don’t have to follow the crowd.
Any person allowing their offspring to succeed through their own resources, right from day one, gets the strongest, healthiest, and most moral children in existence!
That’s always been true, some have done that, and the powerful results are obvious and clear!
Mainstream Thinking
The more damage we have suffered, the more we feel the need to put more and more rules on everybody!
That’s just what we do when we are hurting!
The more rules we put on everybody, the less they get to live their own identities!
And, the meaner, more aggressive they get!
What to do?
We’ve taken this trend all the way into hostility in just about everybody, to varying degrees now!
How far are we willing to go with it!
Rules and punishment take us away from our identities.
Therefore, it keeps making our lives more hostile!
We can all see this effect!
Most of us recognize punishment doesn’t fix anything. It just adds more pain to the world!
In our condition of hurt though, we cannot see an alternative!
Those with enough therapy to reconnect with some of their real selves do begin to see the light.
But, the world still loses ground. We are causing damage faster than we can fix people!
A clear answer
For those brave enough to look, the situation is quickly becoming more obvious!
Rights are gradually becoming recognized as important, in a “hit and miss” sort of way!
The instant natural rights apply to infants, the horror ends!
Evil will no longer have a source!
Infants get the right to live their own identities!
What a strange thought! They actually get to live their own identities! Sarcasm, sorry.
Society will change.
At the moment, well more than half of our world-wide infrastructure and efforts are dedicated to people’s inner hurt!
All of that is going to change. Respect for one another will change too!
When we live from our own identities, we automatically become more about respect, support, and play!
Identities and instincts take us there!
We will have no need to soothe inner hurt that doesn’t exist anymore!
