🌱WHAT CAUSES US TO TREAT OTHERS AS WE DO?🌱

How did our treatment of others become the way it has?

Surprisingly, it follows how we feel about ourselves.

What sets how we feel about ourselves? That comes from other people. Most of it happens early in life.

The results?

How we feel about ourselves sets how we treat others.

Why?

Life comes from within. When little, we live directly from our instincts, feelings, and needs.

This is humanity at its finest. Living from within, people are compassionate, kind, and loving.

This is where most of us are now. With the loss of nurture, we have lost our own inner drive.

Nurture is support and encouragement. Humanity doesn’t do that anymore.

We direct! We control. Our children lose touch with their powerful inner drive because they must learn to obey.

Mankind has forgotten to consider life’s real needs.

We get the very best behavior from our children only when we allow them to live from their own inner drive.

We have overlooked that.

We are now uncomfortable with allowing our young their own independence.

This has happened gradually. With every small step, though, we have lost a little more of our kind and gentle world.

Everything wonderful comes from within. Now, though, we have lost that. Most of us, anyway.

One thing stops that process. Stops it cold.

Sure, we can inch our way back through therapy.

And that alone demonstrates what must be changed before our inner strength can return.

We have become ashamed. Our opinion of ourselves has changed.

We were perfect. Then we became convinced we weren’t.

What did we do then?

We went underground!

We hid everything others didn’t like about us.

Most of us are still hiding a lifetime of negative things that we still keep hidden.

This is what makes it hard for us to speak to a roomful of people.

This alone is why we can’t live out loud anymore. When we reveal our inner issues, we lose that fear completely.

The sad, sad truth is that there was never anything wrong with us.

Adults just don’t know how to nurture.

They thought they were supposed to instruct us. That’s the common belief in these times.

But that’s like growing a plant by ordering it to stand up straight and become greener.

The plant is an independent life form. It already knows what it’s doing.

Life is driven from within. So are children. So are adults.

They require support and encouragement. Not orders.

This absolute fact is supported by every child.

If we want loving, strong, and capable people, support and encouragement generate that, and it happens every time.

When we rely on force and obedience, we get defiance. We also get a child who doesn’t know who they are. There will be endless conflict. Many don’t accept what sex they are.

What did we change?

We hid much of ourselves.

How do we get back?

Bit by bit, we open up and reveal everything that we are.

Does this work? You bet it does. It’s magic.

Day by day we get stronger. Fear leaves us.

What was our fear about? Others might find out about the things we keep hidden.

But there was never anything wrong with us!

That’s what we discover in our journey back to revealing our real nature.

Then what happens?

Our opinion of ourselves changes! Soon we like ourselves. Then, we feel like Superman.

Absolutely! We become nice! We become loving!

We respect others and allow them to live from their own inner wishes and skills.

Do other people like us better? Oh boy. What do you think happens?

Everybody living from their heart does indeed like us. Maybe even love. This is an entirely different world.

This is humanity in its real condition.

All life is independent. How hard is it to allow that?

Why have we ignored the real needs of children?

Why do we no longer nurture?

Thanks for listening,

Good luck on your journey,

Take care,
