The energy of life comes from within!
That’s how all life works!
Whenever we allow that in people, we get warm and loving creatures!
On the other hand, when we interfere, choosing to direct others, especially our children, we end up with confused and self-centered people.
Why?
Because overpowering their inner systems damages the connections to their needs, identities, instincts, and driving energy!
That’s why the majority of us can’t feel our feelings and needs, or enjoy the advantage of our instincts, as well as suffering from poor health and low self-esteem.
Look around! The consequences are always the same! More discipline always results in more conflict. More control always brings more trouble!
Life is already complete as created! It requires only nourishment!
When we attempt to modify it to our own satisfaction, we damage its already complete organization!
We interfere because of our needs, not theirs!
Do we want loving strong, cooperative, compassionate children?
Let them be then, and support their efforts!
Over the last few generations, we have increasingly taken over the lives of our young!
The results? Rampant drug use to relieve anxiety! Defiance. Hate throughout the population! Intense belief in control!
Without a natural connection to our needs, people become capable of believing that control over others can provide satisfaction. Wars and atrocities become possible!
We are in a downward spiral of control!
That causes only conflict. Life is not designed to be controlled.
It’s designed to be sustainable just as created! It needs only support!
Our world seems to have many problems!
We have created them all! We still are!
We could just as easily enjoy being loved, supported, and valued, living in communities of sharing and companionship!
But no! People insist on attempting to control everything we possibly can!
And this troubled, conflicted, and lonely life is the result!
We need to be living from our hearts!
Life is not about getting everything we can!
It’s about receiving more than we can ever feel we deserve, feeling loved, and loving others for it!
Now, that’s a successful life!
Because this is what all of us want.
If we can feel anything at all of our real needs, we know that!
We crave it with every cell of our bodies!
